Semper Fun is a nonprofit that brings military families together through events, volunteer opportunities, and fundraising to boost morale and build community.
2. Who can participate in Semper Fun events?
Our programs are open to active duty service members, their families (18 and older), and military units are welcome to join our events and fundraising activities.
3. How does the fundraising program work?
We partner with major events to provide volunteer opportunities for military units. Your participation helps raise funds that go straight back to support your unit’s morale and recreational activities at no cost to you.
4. What types of events do volunteers work at?
Volunteers may participate in high-profile concerts, music festivals, red carpet events, sports games, and other large-scale gatherings. Positions are hands-off—no physical contact with patrons—and focus on ushering, access control, and guest assistance.

6. Are there any costs for volunteers?
No. Semper Fun covers transportation from your base to the event, meals during the day, and lodging when necessary. Volunteers are never asked to spend money for participation, and there are no tax implications.
7. How are volunteers trained?
Some high-end events require pre-event training. We provide all necessary instructions, and units must meet training deadlines if committed to these events.
8. How do I sign up my unit or family?
Contact Semper Fun to learn about upcoming events, reserve volunteer spots, and set your fundraising goals. Spaces fill on a first-come, first-served basis, so early commitment is encouraged.
9. What is the minimum number of participants per unit?
There is no minimum requirement. You can send as few or as many volunteers as your unit can provide.
